Pets of Candlelight

It’s National Pets Day, and Candlelight Games wanted to celebrate by introducing you to our pets (and let’s be honest, we never pass up an opportunity to share cute pics of our pets)!

Fun Fact: She’s an escape artist—there isn’t a gate she’s met that she can’t clear!

Name: Boss Cat

Age: 12+

Fun Fact: Boss Cat sleeps most of the day. But when she is awake, she will let you know that your current job performance is not satisfactory.

Name: Princess

Age: 6

Fun Fact: Princess loves going out at night to party. She is a guardian of her kingdom. Hope she doesn’t find you if you are a gecko or mouse trespasser.  

Name: Kami

Age: 6

Fun Fact: If you happen to be eating something, Kami would like to know: can she have some too?

Name: Houdini

Age: 10+

Fun Fact: When a stranger comes over, he can disappear with the best of them.

Name: Aurora

Age: 4

Fun Fact: I get so excited when my family comes home I yell at the top of my lungs. One day I was so excited that I even locked my parents out of our apartment by jumping up and locking the deadbolt knob.

Name: Esmenet (cat) and Rory (dog)

Fun Facts: Esme’s greatest desire in the world is to eat Rory’s food, and Rory’s greatest desire is to eat Esme’s food!

Fun Facts: Edsgar is named after Edsgar Dijkstra, the Dutch computer scientist. Like most other dogs, Edsgar enjoys eating, sleeping, and playing fetch.

Name: Ani

Age: 10

Fun Facts: Ani is named after Anita Borg, the American computer scientist. Both are known for their resourcefulness, advocacy efforts, and enjoyment of naps.

Name: Marlon Rando

Age: ??

Fun Facts: A local stray taken in, Marlon will run for safety if he needs to feel safe…but not always in the smartest way. If you’re on his list of trusted people, though, he rockets from 0% trust to 100% enthusiastic about cuddles and tummy rubs.
